This is related to my previous question regarding RFM69 radio's where I have extremely slow throughput
The makers of the radio asked the following:
If the SPI is being managed by the CC2540 and routed from the 328P SW via the UART interface as the architecture diagram shows then maybe it will 'work' but it will be incredibly slow... Which is why I asked. Do you know that the radio is directly connected to the 328P?
The radio is connected via the SPI pins D6 thru D9, Is that going thru the CC2540 as shown in https://punchthrough.github.io/bean-docs/_assets/images/guides/getting-started/tech-specs/bean+-block-diagram.png
How should I answer the question of is the radio attached to the 2540 or the 328P?
If the 2540, can I change things so that the SPI is directly attached to the ATMEGA328P?
If not, how do I get decent throughput via SPI? Is everything else using SPI going to have the same problems?
